Everything you need to know about NeuraBIM
NeuraBIM currently integrates with Autodesk Navisworks via our dedicated add-in plugin. The plugin extracts clash data (.nwc/.nwd clash tests) along with element properties and viewpoints, and sends them to NeuraBIM for AI processing. Support for Revit (.rvt), IFC, and BCF formats is on our 2026 roadmap.
Our machine learning models analyse each clash based on element types, spatial relationships, and system category pairs. The severity model assigns Critical, High, Medium, or Low ratings at 89% accuracy. A separate trade classification model identifies the responsible discipline at 98% accuracy. Both models were trained on 100,000+ human-reviewed clashes from real UK construction projects.
NeuraBIM is designed to enhance Navisworks, not replace it. Navisworks handles raw clash detection — NeuraBIM adds an AI intelligence layer on top: automatic severity ranking, trade assignment, and duplicate grouping that dramatically reduces manual review time. Our Navisworks add-in makes export seamless.
Your data is hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL) and AWS S3 with encryption in transit and at rest. Authentication uses bcrypt-hashed API keys and Supabase Auth. Our multi-tenant architecture isolates data by organisation and project. Enterprise customers requiring dedicated infrastructure or on-premises deployment can contact us to discuss options.
We provide hands-on onboarding support including account setup, Navisworks plugin installation, and a walkthrough of the platform. Most teams can run their first AI-processed clash report within a single session. We're currently in early access — onboarding is personalised and direct with the founding team.
